WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2025 by the Roland Family, LR Equine was created to provide dependable, high-quality care for horses of every stage and need. What began as a family passion has grown into a trusted facility offering aquatred conditioning, Nautilus hot/cold spa therapy, rehabilitation services, mare care, sale-prep fitting, and both nightly and monthly boarding.
We combine hands-on experience with modern conditioning and rehab tools to help horses look, feel, and perform their best. Whether your horse is recovering, getting legged up, prepping for the sale ring, or needing a safe place to stay, we’re committed to providing honest care, consistent attention, and a clean, well-managed environment.
At LR Equine, family values, quality work, and putting the horse first guide everything we do - ensuring every horse gets steady care, honest handling, and consistent attention.

Meet The Team

Chad Roland
Founder & CEO
Chad and his wife of 28 years, Jennifer, now reside in Sneads, Florida. They have three children—Lane, Leah, and Halle—and have built a strong foundation of faith, family, and hard work. Chad serves as a Baptist pastor and is also the owner of LR Steel Building Erectors.
A devoted horseman, Chad has been riding since childhood and developed a lifelong passion for American Quarter Horses. He began showing cutting horses in the mid-1990s and continued competing and training as an amateur non-pro until 2014. During these years, he spent extensive time in the Weatherford, Texas area showing aged event horses, forming deep connections within the region’s horse community.
In September of this year, Chad purchased the Parker County Aqua-Tred, stepping into the opportunity to carry forward its respected legacy. His mission is to provide top-quality aquatic therapy, conditioning, rehabilitation, and fitting services for horses of all disciplines.
Chad is committed to working closely with local veterinarians, trainers, and horse owners to support equine health and performance. His vision is to develop a trusted, successful equine business that strengthens and serves the Weatherford horse industry.

Leah Roland
Ranch Manager
Leah, the oldest daughter of Chad and Jennifer, brings a lifetime of ranching experience to LR Equine. Her upbringing spanned several states and offered her a deep, hands-on education in the horse and cattle industry. She spent her first 14 years on a horse and cattle ranch in Franklin, Tennessee, then lived two years on a large working ranch in Colorado before her family moved to Sneads, Florida, where they continued their involvement in training, breeding, and showing horses.
After graduating high school, Leah earned her degree in Sonography and went on to work as a medical sonographer for two years at Radiology Associates in Tallahassee, Florida. During that time, she also became certified in equine ultrasound, applying her medical skillset to support the reproductive program at her family’s ranch. Leah has also been actively involved in the barrel racing industry for several years and enjoys competing in barrel events, drawing on her strong horsemanship foundation and lifelong connection to performance horses.
In 2025, she relocated to Weatherford, Texas to take on the role of Ranch Manager for LR Equine. Leah is excited to serve the Weatherford community, support local horse owners and veterinarians, and help oversee the day-to-day operations, care, and growth of LR Equine.
