LR EQUINE – TERMS & CONDITIONS Effective Date: November 1, 2025 These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all boarding, mare care, therapy, and related equine services provided by LR Equine LLC (“LR Equine,” “we,” or “our”). By boarding a horse or purchasing services, the owner (“Client” or “Owner”) agrees to all terms listed below. 1. GENERAL CARE & BOARDING 1. LR Equine agrees to provide reasonable and customary care for the boarded horse, including stall cleaning, feeding, turnout (if applicable), and access to water. 2. Owner acknowledges that all horses react differently to new environments and LR Equine cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome. 3. LR Equine reserves the right to move, relocate, or change stalls as necessary for the safety and management of the facility. 2. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS Owner must provide proof of: 1. Negative Coggins (within 12 months) 2. Current vaccinations (including EWT, WNV, Flu/Rhino) 3. Up-to-date deworming 4. LR Equine may refuse service to any horse showing signs of contagious illness, parasites, or unsafe behavior. 5. If a horse becomes ill or injured, LR Equine will attempt to contact Owner. If unreachable, LR Equine has full discretion to secure veterinary care at the Owner’s expense. 3. RISK & LIABILITY 1. Owner understands that equine activities carry inherent risks as defined under the Texas Equine Activity Liability Act (Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code §87.001–§87.006). 2. LR Equine is not liable for injury, sickness, escape, or death of the horse, except in cases of proven gross negligence. 3. Owner releases and holds harmless LR Equine, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims related to boarding or services provided. 4. THERAPY & CONDITIONING SERVICES (AQUATRED, SPA, THERAPLATE, FITTING) 1. Owner acknowledges that hydrotherapy, hot/cold spa therapy, vibration therapy, and conditioning exercises are physical activities that may not be suitable for all horses. 2. LR Equine staff will operate all therapy equipment; Owner may not run equipment without permission. 3. LR Equine does not guarantee specific performance, fitness, appearance, or rehabilitation results. 4. Owner assumes responsibility for any complications arising from undisclosed injuries, conditions, or lameness issues. 5.MARE CARE LR Equine provides mare monitoring, feeding, and handling as specified in the chosen service package. LR Equine is not responsible for complications during pregnancy, foaling, or postpartum recovery. Veterinary involvement during foaling is at the discretion of staff and done at Owner’s expense. 6.PAYMENT & BILLING Boarding fees are due in full prior to arrival unless otherwise arranged. Therapy, spa services, mare care, and extras are billed at time of service. Late payments of more than 10 days may incur fees or suspension of services. 7. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & NO-SHOWS Boarding: • Cancellations must be made 24 hours before arrival for nightly stays. • Monthly boarding requires 7-day notice for cancellation or early departure. Therapy appointments: No-shows or cancellations with less than 12 hours' notice will be charged the full session rate. No refunds are issued for unused days of boarding, packages, or prepaid sessions. 8. OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES Owner must notify LR Equine of any behavioral issues, vices, health concerns, or medications. Owner must maintain liability insurance for their horse (recommended but not required). Owner agrees to follow all barn rules, staff instructions, and safety protocols. 9. EMERGENCY AUTHORIZATION 1. If Owner cannot be reached in an emergency, LR Equine has permission to contact a veterinarian and authorize treatment necessary for the horse’s well-being. Owner is fully responsible for all veterinary costs. 10.TERMINATION OF SERVICES LR Equine may terminate this agreement at any time for: • Dangerous horse behavior • Non-payment • Violation of rules or abuse of staff • Health concerns affecting the facility Owner must remove the horse from premises within 48 hours after notice, unless otherwise approved. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS By boarding a horse or receiving services at LR Equine, Owner acknowledges they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
